Organisation
The inception and development of the project are the fruit of the ongoing collaboration between Vincent Courtois and Emmanuelle Hertmann.
The artistic college
In addition to their educational role in the masterclasses, Noémi Boutin, Eric Maria Couturier and Vincent Courtois select the interns each year and support them in their respective projects.
They envision the program and choose the patron for each edition.

Les lieux
Nous avons la chance d’être accueillis à Paris et à Lyon par deux lieux résolument tournés vers la création contemporaine :
les écritures singulières et nouvelles, les formes croisées et peu éprouvées.
Ce sont des salles à jauge réduite permettant une proximité, une immersion dans le son et une qualité d’écoute, créant ainsi un rapport d’intimité privilégié et unique.
The Atelier du Plateau

We are fortunate to be hosted in Paris at a place resolutely focused on contemporary creation, singular and new-form processes, cross-bred and untested works.
The Atelier du Plateau is a room with reduced capacity allowing for proximity, sound immersion and quality listening, thus creating a privileged, unique and intimate impression.
The artworks that accompany the Ateliers du Violoncelle every year are creations of Serge Bloch
