Inception and development of the project are the fruit of the ongoing collaboration between Vincent Courtois and Emmanuelle Hertmann.
The artistic college
In addition to their educational role in the masterclasses, Noémi Boutin, Eric Maria Couturier and Vincent Courtois select the interns each year and support them in their respective projects.
They envision the program and choose the patron for each edition.

Places
We are fortunate to be hosted in Paris and Lyon by two places resolutely focused on contemporary creation: singular and new-form processes, cross-bred and untested works.
These are rooms with reduced capacity allowing for proximity, sound immersion and quality listening, thus creating a privileged, unique and intimate impression.
The artworks that accompany the Ateliers du Violoncelle every year are creations of Serge Bloch
